When we all started our initial fitness journeys, we never really thought that specific equipment was required for specific exercises. Well, at least I didn’t. I used to run, exercise, and bike in my little shoes. I’ve always had anterior knee pain after smashing my foot on the pavement while running. I wasn’t used to running very far because of this pain.
Although I mostly went to the gym during this time so the trucks fit perfectly because they were inherently flat so I never realized my mistake when it came to running and cycling. With cycling, it is completely unsafe to run in shoes with long, loose laces such as truck boots.

Running shoes, for example, have a high drop, which means the heel is higher than the toe – which is good for running shoes because they help our knees from injury but as you can imagine if you squat, it won’t. be appropriate.

If your main type of exercise is running, definitely get running shoes, if it’s CrossFit, find a suitable CrossFit shoe and if you are a bodybuilder or just a bodybuilder, having flat shoes suits you the most. If you do cycling, you may need lace-up shoes or shoes without laces to prevent injury.

If you go window shopping at most shoe stores, they will usually assess your foot and then provide you with some options, you can take this home as homework and then search for suitable shoes online that you can find at discount prices.
Price will always be a deciding factor for a lot of people, so I won’t say much here other than what I do in reviews, especially regarding shoes that cost much less than the big brands. One thing you should never do is give up quality for price because the shoe will likely not be durable enough to last all year.
